Bob,

The easiest way to get hold of Helvetica if you don't already have it is to 
purchase it from Adobe or another font vendor. (Of course, if you own 
Illustrator you will find Helvetica among the fonts on the installation CD.)

As far as which fonts are available in MapInfo, you should be able to use 
any font installed on your machine. That's the way it works on the Mac, so 
I imagine the PC is the same.
