Hello,

Here is a link about "apcompat.exe" found in the \support folder on Win2k CD
http://www.techspot.com/tweaks/win2k_compatiblity/index.shtml
Not sure about XP but there is something about compatability in it.
If all you have is the "Make Me New CD" then, search google for the program
and XP

Last monday my database person, getting degree in computer science, forgot
my warning that the C: partition was less than 10 percent free. At 9am they
made my day and C: blew itself to pieces.
After installing Win2k and Paradox 7, Paradox started with a message it
could not find the last database used. Ok, this was the first run and the
folders settings were no set.
But there were no buttons! Clicking where they are supposed to be and
holding down mouse the button woud show up and then releasing nothing
happened.

After 1 hour searching the web the above solved it.
