It does actually work and it's quite usefull when you are creating a
program with some of the new features, but you are not sure whether all
your costumers actually have upgraded (but then again we all have haven't
we... ;-))

But you are right, Lars, you have to watch your step because by linking you
program with an older version that doesn't know some of the used functions
you alone are responsible for making sure that the application doesn't use
these new functions on a version that doesn't support them.

Hi Daniel,

MIPro and MB version 4.0 (and previous) was Win16 applications. Version 4.1
was the initial Win32 application.
Maybe the Win16 support in XP is the culprit ?

Theoretically you can't link MB modules compiled with newer version of MB,
although I wouldn't rule it out completely that it might actually work. But
it's definitely a questionable endeavour, nonetheless.
