G'day Vinny,

If you are printing to a HP plotter, try "processing in computer" - set by
going into the properties of the print dialog box, then the advanced tab.
This uses your computer to rip up the plot, rather than the plotter.

We use this as a workaround to plot to a HP755CM, when using raster/vector
layouts.

Adobe PDF Writer/Distiller has a max page size of 1143 x 1143 mm.
Create an A3 layout, then PDF, then print the PDF and scale up to A0. This
usually works well.

Of course, it all depends on your local setup etc.

Greg.

MapInfo Users
I created an A0 size MapInfo layout and am experiencing difficulties trying
to print as our plotter keeps on running out of memory.
The print job is quiet huge as about 80% of the layout contains a raster
image. Hence I am getting strange results when printing.
Is there any other way of printing my layout?
I've tried exporting the layout but noted that the resolution quality
diminishes when saved as a .bmp or .jpeg file.
I've heard of Adobe Distiller? Is this a product that could be helpful?
Attempted using Adobe Writer but ran into problems customising the page
size
to A0 for a .pdf document.
Any guidance appreciated.

Thanks.

Vinny
