There is a small mystery in the files "Detailed Place boundaries by state". When I display a state MI table, the objects are regions painted yellow. Some of them have what seems to be holes (the object info reveals that they are made of more than one polygon). However these "hole" polygons are also painted yellow even if they cover nothing (There are no objects present in the holes).
I made a simple test: export the table as MIF and re-import them. The holes are then "empty" of colour, as they should have been for the start. What that fault due to the translator that was used while it was writing directly and wrongly in the TAB/MAP format?
