I'm not sure if you can do that in MapInfo, but why not just
take the resulting text file, open it in just about any text
editor, and do a search and replace, changing every

"""

with

""

Unless your file is really huge or unless you have many
files, this should work.

Subject: MI-L MI-L: exporting txt files

Hello everyone,
a quick question. Is it possible to export from mapinfo so
that a
comma seperated text file is produced with no quotation
marks around text
fields?
eg.

Normal text export:

        1234,"Harry","V1203",89,"0123;"

Desired export:

        1234,Harry,V1203,89,0123;

Regards
