Pen, Ftn and Clr are files used to determine the symbols, fonts ... used in Mapinfo, and they can be customized by users.
You're problem seems to be that the user doen't have those files, and they're rather necessary for Mapinfo to work. They're innitially located (at least in Winnt) in the "winnt\profiles\ -- profile_name -- \ Program Data\ Mapinfo ...". To be sure of the location, type, in the client machine: print GetFolderPath$ (-1) and look for these files If they aren't present in that folder, you should copy them from your computer. I think it won't neccesary to give full access to the users.
