The problem with the labels in the legends was because the workspace had one layer Editable and the permissions were set to read-only. After this line the loading stopped so, that part of thematic had became unavailable. You're problem seems to be that the user doen't have those files, and they're rather necessary for Mapinfo to work. They're innitially located (at least in Winnt) in the "winnt\profiles\ -- profile_name -- \ Program Data\ Mapinfo ...". To be sure of the location, type, in the client machine: print GetFolderPath$ (-1) and look for these files If they aren't present in that folder, you should copy them from your computer. I think it won't neccesary to give full access to the users.
