Hello Brian

Try the MapInfo application Relief_Utilities and use the "ChangeData" utility
to convert values. The utility uses a reference database where you can write
your old datavalue in one column and the new datavalue in another column.

Ok listers, I need more help. I want to update a newly created column
based on the values in an old column. For example, in Column A (old
column) there are numeric values and I want to put what that numeric value
is describing in Column B (new). To be specific, if I have a "3" in Column
A, I want MapInfo to automatically put "White Pine" in Column B. Is this
possible?

Sincerely,
