MI-L GPS/Geotracker

Does anyone have any experience using the Geotracker app from a mapinfo window in VB?

I can get it working fine and communicating with the GPS within Mapinfo, but I am trying to work out if it's possible to use it within a VB which uses a Mapinfo object, and if so, how to do so.

Any advice appreciated.
