Funny little thing here as well...I installed MapXtreme 3.0 on a client's machine using Windows Terminal Services. The application installed seamlessly with no issues but once my ASP code attempted to obtain a MapX object from the Broker, the Broker Service stopped and needed to be reset.
Hint: Do not install MapXtreme with Terminal Services. - Ian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Burkmar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Mapinfo-L List (E-mail)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2003 8:43 AM Subject: RE: MI-L Black maps in MapXtreme Win 3.0 > Harmen, > > I had a similar problem on one particular server at a customer site - every > time the application tried to contact the map broker, the MapXBroker failed > and needed to be restarted.
