Hi All Can you change the amount of memory MapInfo Pro 7 uses? I am running MI Pro 7 with Windows 2000 on a 800MHz P3 and 512MB RAM. I have over 300MB of physical memory available. I am trying to index a property table, but it has taken nearly 2 hours for about 1 million records. MapInfo is only using about 20MB of RAM and is spending a lot of time reading and writing to the disk. Can I change the amount of RAM MapInfo uses for data to speed up the process. I have a similar issue when trying to run some queries.
