This is a little off of MapInfo-only issues, but we are considering additional training of staff on web-based programming for mapping. We have a lot of MapBasic experience along with general GIS, but not any "web-integration" experience. We are also not locked into MI-based tools.
What are the core technologies involved (e.g. is XML important? do we need to learn .NET?, how much "web-server admin" would we need to know? etc.)? Does anyone have advice on how we should best setup a training plan to get the knowledge needed?
