Hello Daniel,

Like Dale told, they site contains plenty of information about FME, which is
also useful for UT commandline use. I made a MapBasic code for alternative
user interface to batch use imut.exe, that is the program behind Universal
Translator. It can be found at:

http://www.tut.fi/~joutsini/mipro

You might find it useful since all the code and some FME sample files are
included. This is interesting topic that many listers have been poking, but
never discussed throught out (I think).
