As I said to Jacques P in an email about the tool - "The code on Directions is exactly as I wrote it but it was written for my former employers who have obviously handed it out to the user community - this is all well and good and my message earlier was more in the manner of weloming an old friend rather than griping about ownership. Any value you can add would be enormously welcome and I look forward to seeing how you can improve it." The great thing about the MapInfo tools on Directions is that they represent a cumulative effort by some dozens, even hundreds of people - sorry if it appeared my amor propre had been offended. Its not copyright and anything short of downright unacknowledged plagiarism is a compliment in my book.
