yeah, went to the adelaide conference which they did the day before perth
and briefly showed off some of my own integrated mappping stuff (woefully
unprepared), and had a couple (half dozen, who's counting?) drinks with them
afterwards.

they mentioned stuff about WMS and whatnot, sounded exciting the way they
said it, but i don't know much about it personally.

the product that got the biggest plugging was the Routing J server stuff.
kinda like Uffe Kousgaard's Routeware stuff with a lot of optimizing of
multiple waypoints.

dude, it's to let you know which window is active. if you've got several
open the only way to tell sometimes is by which window has a darker taskbar.
it's a pain sometimes when you attempt to perform a map action, only to find
out the browser window is active.

Interesting list !

However, one item caught my eye:
> - web map service (WMS) client support allowing you to download maps from
a MapInfo, Intergraph and ESRI WMS server into MapInfo
Professional

... from a MapInfo (...) WMS server ???

Did I miss anything ? Has MapInfo really launched a WMS server ?
Or is it just sales talk, and something that's still pending for sometime
2004 ??
