Dear List, I am looking for a way to smooth a polyline layer. The integrated routine in MI 7.0 does not satisfy the requirements because there is an important restriction.
Here is my challenge: The smoothing of the polyline layer depends on another layer consisting of points. Each polyline has the information ATT1 (-right the Polyline) ATT2 (-left from the polyline) depending on the rolling direction. Now its up to the points. They have the information ATT which corresponds with the polyline information ATT1/ATT2. The smoothing should be stopped when a point lies on the false side of a polyline due to the ATT1/ATT2-information. How can I achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
