Hi James,

I think you could save the mapinfo grid as a .TAB file and then convert that
into a ESRI file. There is a utility called MapInfo Universal Translator
that let's you convert a .TAB into a ERSI file.

I have not come accross any direct coversion tool for the same.

Thanx

Is there a way of converting a grid from MapInfo (either .mig or .grd) into
a native ESRI raster file. I know how to do this manually however can this
be automated and included in a third part application? Is it necessary to
have ArcView or Spatial Analyst installed on the clients machine? Does ESRI
publish their grid specifications?
