Hello
Does anyone know of a tool ( or what the map basic would be ) that could
aggregate one table in to many little tables based on a common attribute
within a field.

Also does any one what the map basic would be to update an ID field with
consecutive numbers until a common attribute within a field changes at
which point it should recount and carry on like this down the table

And one more (Im afraid Ive been saving these up)

Having saved queries that containing map objects displayed in both the
map and layout windows in a workspace, we have found that the
workspaces do not open until the workspaces have all elements of the
query edited out in notepad, and then of course the layout crashes.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem (saving queries with map
objects) and / or if there is any remediation?

Cheers
Sam Clarke
