Hi, I'm using MapInfo V5. Is there a way I could use the CreateLine function with two object names instead of two sets of coordinates?
I only have object names of the start points in my table, but I generated their coordinates using the centroid(obj) function. However, I need to specify their end points in the same table before I can draw the line. I'm wondering if there's simpler way to just draw the line using the end object name instead of its coordinates because shouldn't the object name have coordinates associated with it anyhow? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
