My suggestion:
Select all the regions and create a buffer (one for all objects) with radius 0 and smoothness 4 (the minimum) into a new table and place the table above the regions layer.

Subject: MI-L Thematic Mapping: Highlighting Outer Boundaries Only?

Hi,

I'm using MapInfo V5, and I'm using thematic mapping (Individual type) to highlight a bunch of regions.

I've modified the map style so that the borders of the region are thicker, but I only want to the outer borders to be thicker (the inner borders of the regions should remain narrow so that the bunch of regions from afar appear as one large region). However, whenever I do this, all borders become thicker, including the inner borders. Any suggestions to resolve this problem would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time,
Wendy
