Hi Robin, Do not know if this is related but we were experiencing legends being cutoff (on the screen and while exporting as jpg's but printing without any problems). Our problem was that we were using a theme legend instead of the legend. I am not sure what quirky things are embeddedin theme legends but regular legends do not have these problems. Be cognizant of which type of legend you use in your layout.
good luck, Timothy M.
