It doesn't look like anyone has replied to this, maybe because it's so
simple, but I would hate to think that we're all thinking "the other guy" is
going to answer this, so here goes.

Use the "Tools | Universal Translator" to convert ESRI Shape files into
MapInfo TAB files.  Or you can simply directly read the Shapefile, but MI
will create its own little "translator" TAB file.

Does anybody know if it is possible to open/convert ESRI's shape files into
MapInfo files. I have files which I need to open/convert from shape to
MapInfo files. I am currently using 6.5 version of MapInfo.
