Hi, I have a set of administrative areas (polygons) that are bounded by a set of street centrelines. I want to:
1) attach the name of the admin area to each street segment when the street runs cleanly through a polygon, and; 2) attach the name of each left and right boundary when the street forms boundary between two admin areas (i.e. similar to the 'left and right suburb' in some street addressing models. The first I know how to do, however I'd like some advice on how to solve the second part - attaching left and right polygon attributes to a line. Assumptions - that there is an exact geometric alignment between the lines and the polygons and that I've created a "leftpoly" and "rightpoly" fields in my street centerline table.
