I think it would be more than a name change. SpatialWare works extremely well without any mapping client (no MapInfo Pro), also MapInfo list 'MapInfo Professional for Microsoft SQL Server' as a no longer available product (http://www.mapinfo.com/products/Overview.cfm?productid=907). But I have heard that the replacement solution is MapInfo Pro and a single user SpatialWare license.
