On my laptop running Win XP home edition, SP2, I was able to search
for *.mb files fine.  I am wondering if this has anything to do with
update patches (the last one: Win XP hotfix (SP2) Q819696).  No clue!

BTW, I am tired of that puppy also.  Actually I am sick of the paper clips
in
MS Office even more.
