I guess the downside of this "mini workspace" is that you'll always get two windows with your table. This will also be the case if you select "Into current ampper" when you open the table. Isn't that correct ?
But then again if this solves your problem... But using tables as "mini workspaces" sure doesn't make things easier to see thru. Of course you now knoe what you have done, but what if a new person is supposed to take over in let's say a year! Maybe a print messege in the tab file would help: !Table !Version 100 Print "Modified Table: <name of tab file>" Open Table "file1" Hide map From file1 set window frontwindow() max Browse * From file1 set window frontwindow() max Just my 2c Peter Horsbll Mller GIS Developer Geographical Information & IT COWI A/S Odensevej 95 DK-5260 Odense S Denmark Tel +45 6311 4900 Direct +45 6311 4908 Mob +45 5156 1045 Fax +45 6311 4949 E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cowi.dk > -----Original Message----- > From: Gilbert Hach [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 4:49 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: MI-L full window by default? > > > Hi again > > Thanks for all the answers but I found the solution I was > looking for myself... > > I have created a new tab file calling my original file - > works like a mini workspace... > > content of file2.tab: ( line with Hide is optional) > > > !Table > !Version 100 > Open Table "file1" Hide > map From file1 > set window frontwindow() max > Browse * From file1 > set window frontwindow() max > > > > Gilbert Hach > > Solutions Consortech Inc. > 6300, Auteuil, Bureau 505 > Brossard, Qubec, Canada, J4Z 3P2 > > Tl/Tel. : (450) 676-1555 Ext. 211 > Tlcopieur/fax : (450) 676-8851 > Courriel/email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 10651
