Hi Terry, I would add the layer several times to the map, and then using a overwrite style to change the width on these "extra" copies of the same layer. Now you can use the Zoom level to control when which layer is visible.
Like this ROADS, Width 1, Zoom 10 -100 ROADS, Width 2, Zoom 5 -10 ROADS, Width 3, Zoom 2 -5 ROADS, Width 4, Zoom 0 -2 HTH, Peter Horsbll Mller GIS Developer Geographical Information & IT COWI A/S Odensevej 95 DK-5260 Odense S Denmark Tel +45 6311 4900 Direct +45 6311 4908 Mob +45 5156 1045 Fax +45 6311 4949 E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.cowi.dk > -----Original Message----- > From: Terry McDonnell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2004 12:56 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: MI-L Resizing Map objects when Zooming > > > Hello again. > > Can anyone tell me how I can make map objects larger or > smaller, according zooming? > > e.g. as the user zooms in on a street map (e.g. with the zoom > tool) the width of the streets increases, progressively, and > vice versa. > > TIA > > Terry > --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 10667
