Hi Richard, Try to open your jpeg file in Microsoft Photo Editor (if you have it) and take the selection tool, then select image with extension area as bigger as possible and make a crop after that. Save your image like this and your file will be smaller. Try this!

I have no rasters, the layout is mostly linework, some text and a few ploygons. There are large blank areas. Anything less than 120 DPI and the linework and or text pixellate too much and picture quailness suffers.Trying to save as PDF causes it all to crash.
