That is odd, for me hitting Control + Rolling the Wheel zooms in (double) and out (half) of a map when in a map window. I have to do a click on the wheel then roll the ball of trackball (or move mouse) to move around like the grabber tool. Guess it depends upon what you are using. But I fully agree that it is a very useful thing to have in MapInfo.
>>> "Terry McDonnell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 03/23/04 12:01PM >>> Tim I've not encountered this problem but there is a neat feature of many windows editors/applications (Word, Excel, MapBasic, Foxpro et al) that I don't think a lot of people know about. I myself stumbled onto it by accident. If you hold down the Ctrl key and roll your mouse wheel, the text in the window zooms in and out (depending on direction of wheel). Maybe you can restore your text size by this means. Incidentally, in case anybody doesn't know this too, if you do this is a mapping window then the map pans up or down, like using the grabber hand. I thought you guys might find the above useful anyway, even if it doesn't help Tim's problem.
