Maybe another solution would be to export the data to MIF/MID and then reimport in a
Windowsbased MapInfo ?

Hi Cinda,

I believe so too. I've never heard of a "Pro v 4.5 for Mac" either.

The problem the professor's experiencing may be connected to the reversed byte order
used by Mac and PC. And since a native MapInfo dataset is mixed ascii and binary, that
would most likely yield problems. I can't say which type of file is the problem.

I believe the solution is to transform the Mac files to PC using a standard
"Mac-in-Windows" or "Mac-to-Windows converter" software.

Best regards / Med venlig hilsen
