Here's a question/problem. Am creating point files (waypoints) in MI. Using Universal Translator convert to ESRI shape file set.
When used by the ESRI based Pocket PC software these files are treated as MultiPoint files and as one would guess they don't work. If one jumps through bunches of hoops via different export import techniques using MI and Arcview the files can be imported as Point files and function. Problem really lies with the Pocket PC software but who knows when they will get around to revising it. Anyone have any ideas of how to get point files from MI to shape files as point vs multipoint files? Or is there an equal to this forum on the esri side of the world?
