To attention to all of you who wanted to take part in our map algebra contest, but found it awkward to work with Grid Analyser under Windows XP if Windows XP Style for displaying windows was used. An updated version 4.1.5.369 of Grid Analyser that displays properly in Windows XP Style can be freely downloaded from http://www.terris.sk.

The competition is still not closed. The author of the most interesting or complex map algebra formula created with Grid Analyser will receive a free licence of the newest Grid Analyser - a MapInfo add-on for analysis of gridded data (an alternative to Vertical Mapper), with marvelous power of map algebra. The complexity of formula can be extended by using comparizon, logical and conditional functions, addressing of neighbouring grid cells is also supported.
