Wonder whether anyone can assist in how to automate this task...
I seek to automatically populate a set of buffers (25 metre) around points with another point that lies just within the extent of the buffer - in each case, I require this new point to: - contain the ID of the point around which the buffer is made, and also - be located on the 'entry' side (i.e. consistently for each buffer) For context, on the latter point, may I add that the buffered points represent bus stops along a road, and I need the points that are being 'added' to be on the 'entry' side of the buffer extremity in each case - in other words, the directional flow side.
