I am trying opening an un-referenced shapefile in MapInfo and while it looks fine in ArcView it come in stretched in MapInfo. Any ideas why? The file has gone through a lot of transformation: Illustrator to dxf to geodatabase to shapefile w/polygon ZMs to plain shapefile. I would have directly brought the dxf into MapInfo but MapInfo was taking each of the layers in the dxf and making separate tab files. Instead of vector transforming one file I would have to vector transform about 15 and none would have matching reference points hence the ArcView route. Alas, that's not working either. Thanks.
