Jacque

I guess by now you've seen Bill's solution. The difference between the
2 types of button was my addition of the cursor clause and the typo on
the cursor ID. This is the second time I've been bitten by the wrong ID
constant (though last time I don't think I got an internal error), and I
think to look out for this is indelibly printed on my mind now, after
this palaver.

My sincere thanks to you, Bill, Peter and "Anon" for your attention and
help. It's like having a team of ghost programmers looking over my
shoulder - it's great to have you all here "in spirit". You never know
- I may yet have problems with the next "mystery error" and need another
sance.

Terry,

I do not know what your mbx is doing; what did it do when there was as
pushbutton? There might be some action in contradiction with the input
by
the DM Mode. What kind of variable are you passing to the mbx? (for ex.)
