Regarding the recently oft-mentioned SRTM DEMs, I note Ihab Hawater has
kindly pointed to the availability of 'Grid Translator Pro
for MapInfo Vertical Mapper'
Must one have Vertical Mapper in order to allow 'Grid Translator Pro
for MapInfo Vertical Mapper' translate to other formats?
I have at my disposal MapInfo with Encom's Discover and separately ER
Mapper and Geosoft Oasis Montaj. Are there alternative routes to the SRTM
*.hgt files open to me?
