Charles I have an mapbasic application which synchronizes two map windows within the same MapInfo instance. I have another pair of applications which synchronises 2 map windows in different instances of MapInfo. If either of these would be of any use to you I can send you the compiled applications or the code.

Here is an example of how it would work: If one window contained a gis generated map and the second was an aerial image and they were linked so if you zoomed or panned on one window, the other window would make the same changes so you would see the same area.
