Those are not the prettiest examples of these cartograms, there are much
cooler ones out there. I'm just looking for another way to show data in
an eye-catching manner.

I've never heard of a tool for mI that can do this, but why would you
want 
such a map? Some of the states become so nrecognizable I'm not sure that

this method communicates information as well as some of the other
thematic 
presentations.
