MI-L Converting Layout Window into PDF

Dear listers,   I use MI v.6 and Adobe Acrobat Professional v.6.0. When I converted a large print map (22x34 inches) from the layout window to pdf in MI, part of the map was cut off from the pdf file. I tried with different files and with different sizes and seems to me that the largest size MI can convert is 23x23 inches. Anybody has any clues?
