Kind friends, I have the need often to connect the elements of a drawing imported by Autocad (for instance particles cadastral) with a table of data imported by excel]. Then I create a field "integer" in the table created from the importation of the drawing, I there introduce progressive numbers; I do the same thing with the table of excel. But to join the single elements of the map with the single record of the table, using "Update column" and "Join," I must assign manually by keyboard the number corrected to each element. This is a practice very long because I must see contemporary the map, and the two charts and insert a number at a time. There is it a method more fast ? The ideal thing would be the possibility of select an object of the map and click on the record that I want to make to correspond in the table imported by excel. It is possible ?
