I discovered that the text object size and position when printed depends on:
1. the zoom
2. the printer
3. the printer driver
4. the font
Generally, the print matches the screen the most when the layout is zoomed to the "Actual size".
I found it very irritating, especially when trying to label many features without overlaps.

Hello MapInfo Gurus,

This is pretty basic, but it has me scratching my head. I am printing a
Map from a layout window (in MapInfo 6.0). I have a numbered list of
features (45 schools) which I detail in the layout window. (see below)

   1. Aldergrove
   2. Alex Hope
   3. Alice Brown
   4. etc.

Although the numbers and lines are aligned when I zoom into the layout
window, they are not properly aligned when I print the map.

Is this a MapInfo quirk/bug? Is there a work around?

Thanks,
Bob
