I had that same problem the other day when working with labels. Somehow, my problem just went away, came back briefly, and went away again. It seems to be a common problem. David Reid mentioned lowering your "hardware acceleration on your graphics card". I was going to try this, but wasn't sure where to find the acceleration rate when I looked in the advanced display settings or what it might also be known as. alan
