Hello Richard,

Specify your needs / requirements for the modelling and it will probably
be easier to give some advice on where to go. What kind of problem are
you trying to solve? It is probably not just making a nice-looking map.

Kind regards

Subject: MI-L modelling a rapid transit system

I would like to create a rapid transit network for Chicago with lines
connecting the stations and the distance between successive stations
measured. Each station should be a node. I have the x and y
coordinates of each station. There are multiple lines and some
stations serve more than one line. I can connect the dots use the kgm
utilities, but I don't know where to go from there.

Thanks for your help
Dick Block
