Will,

This is a function in Data Assistant, an evaluation version of which is
available on our website.

Your table is not restrictedd to regions ... it can be any spatial object in
MapInfo. The table name is based on the unique value of the associated
record. Assign a rowid if you want one object per table and use that as the
unique column.

To run it, open your table and select Data Assistant > Create Table >
Extract Same Data. Complete details are in the online PDF manual that forms
part of the installation.
