Jaromir, I believe this is due to a memory limit.
When printing to the PDF file go into the advanced printer options and reduced the DPI from 1200 to something like 300DPI. Let me know how you go. When setting a custom paper size to 42X56 inches (42 is the maximum width of our HP DesignJet 500PS), the whole layout becomes grey (the color normally used to show the nonprintable area at margins) and a white page is printed. The same with Acrobat Distiller postscript driver. Printing to 42X55 inches custom paper or to standart paper sizes, such as ISO A0 or Arch E, works fine. This problem is specific to MapInfo, because printing from other software like PowerPoint makes no problems. It seems that there is some limitation on the maximum paper length (56 inch?). Does anyone have a clue on this? It is really frustrating.
