Maybe the columns are not numerical ?

Some of the thematic types require numerical columns

Can you select Expression and select the column here ? If so you can use the
Val() function to convert the values to numerical values

Subject: MI-L Workspace answers and question on themes

Hi all,

Thanks so much for your answers with about my workspaces not coming up.
It was the printers, I've hooked them back up and I'm in business!

Another question now:

I have joined two tables together, one that has my geographic boundaries
(Local Health Areas) with an attribute table (Socioeconomic Index by
LHA). After the join I saved it as a separate table and then tried to
create a thematic map. However the only fields I can create a theme
from is the Local Health Areas, it won't allow me to create from any of
the Socioeconomic Indexes even though they are in the table. Does
anyone know why I can't get some of the fields to show up? Thanks,

Christine
