Does anyone here know of a good site I can go to to get (free) information about how to clear off partially uploaded Windows critical security patches? I've temporarily acquired an XP machine whose owner was on a dialup and back in February he got bored waiting for Windows to update 30 MB of critical security patches so he canceled. Ever since then all subsequent critical security patches failed to install.
Now the machine most likely is crawling with wild virii, but if I can clear off the old uploads (which never installed, but the MS site thinks they've been downloaded succesfully but not installed) I'll try the process again.
