According to the standard MapInfo license agreement, you can't use MapInfo in an interactive mode over the Internet. If you did that, you would be exposing your company to potential legal trouble. The details are in the MapInfo license that came with your software. You can do this with a MapXtreme application (if you buy the internet license) but that's sort of a pricey solution to this sort of need.
