We're soon to be using Amber iQ to rapidly ingest, analyse, and use the
results of a number of LIDAR surveys of the coast. The LIDAR data are
in terrabyte-sized files and Amber will permit us to handle these files
without subdividing them. Very exciting prospects for rapidly updating
terrain models that have a direct bearing on the safety of people living
at the coast, and their property.
